Thomas Wind, D.O. is a board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist in private practice in Media, Pennsylvania. In his child-centered practice he treats a wide variety of mental illnesses using both medication and psychotherapy. Dr. Wind answers questions about the proper diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents with emotional, cognitive and behavioral symptoms. In the last few years new medications have dramatically altered the basic approach to the acute and long term medication treatment of this illness. Dr. Ram is a former researcher at the National Institute of Mental Health and Director of Mental Health Services for the State of Delaware. Dr. Ram has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of people with schizophrenia and discusses the evidence based approach to state of the art treatment of schizophrenia, with special attention to medication side effects and monitoring. |
